ACTS 1:8 (KJV)

8   But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

JOHN 14:12-1412

 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

13    And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14   If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

JOHN 15:7

7  If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

LUKE 10:19

19   Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

 PSALMS 15 (NKJV)The Character of Those Who May Dwell with the Lord

A Psalm of David.

1  Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle?Who may dwell in Your holy hill?

2  He who walks uprightly,And works righteousness,And speaks the truth in his heart;

3  He who does not backbite with his tongue,Nor does evil to his neighbor,Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend;

4  In whose eyes a vile person is despised,But he honors those who fear the Lord;He who swears to his own hurt and does not change;

5  He who does not put out his money at usury,Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent.He who does these things shall never be moved.

PSALMS 24 (NKJV)

1  The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,The world and those who dwell therein.

2   For He has founded it upon the seas,And established it upon the waters.

3   Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?Or who may stand in His holy place?

4   He who has clean hands and a pure heart,Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol,Nor sworn deceitfully.

5   He shall receive blessing from the Lord,And righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6   This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him,Who seek Your face.

7Lift up your heads, O you gates!And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!And the King of glory shall come in.

8Who is this King of glory?The Lord strong and mighty,The Lord mighty in battle.

9Lift up your heads, O you gates!Lift up, you everlasting doors!And the King of glory shall come in.

10Who is this King of glory?The Lord of hosts,He is the King of glory.

Abraham Prayed - GENESIS 17:18-21

18  And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!

19  And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

20  And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I haveblessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

21  But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.

Hannah Prayed - I SAMUEL 1:9

9  So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the Lord.

10  And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept sore.

11  And she vowed a vow, and said, O Lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

12  And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the Lord, that Eli marked her mouth.

13  Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.

14  And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.

15  And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the Lord.

16  Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.

17  Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.

18  And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.

19  And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the Lord, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the Lord remembered her.

20  Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the Lord.

21  And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the Lord the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.

22  But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, I will not go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before the Lord, and there abide for ever.

23  And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the Lord establish his word. So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.

24  And when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bullocks, and one ephah of flour, and a bottle of wine, and brought him unto the house of the Lord in Shiloh: and the child was young.

25  And they slew a bullock, and brought the child to Eli.

26  And she said, Oh my lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the Lord.

27  For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him:

28  Therefore also I have lent him to the Lord; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the Lord. And he worshipped the Lord there.
